   I have just won a court case starting in 2022 being sued with legally aided allegations of stalking ( while I was sick in hospital) and continuing in November 2023 with allegations of stalking to wit - paying monies into three different bank accounts namely my three offspring's over a period of 12 years leaving remittance advices in the bank statement description such as 'lots of love daddy' and 'are you coming over for dinner this month'

   Since 15th November 2023 and the appearance of no less than 6 police officers on my doorstep 'serving' summonses this has involved 6 months of litigation and appearances in the BRISBANE MAGISTRATES COURT with the personal attention of the labour appointed chief magistrate from 15 November 2023 until today 15th April 2024 costing the best part of $10,000 in hotel stays journeys preparation time and attendance and lawyers fees

   Not only was the case withdrawn thanks to the expertise of Rowan King of RK LAW but also withdrawn without the possibility of costs awarded

   Someone is behind this ( most likely the double chins and leonard cohen records who resigned on the 10th December 2024) I believe to coincide with the local council mayoral elections

    As a local businessman and boat builder and manufacturer and as a resident for 25 years I well understand the lack of availability of affordable accommodation in Caloundra and the Sunshine Coast in particular and Queensland in general as well as right across the country

    Socially I have been involved in the Caloundra Chorale and New World Rhythm and Church choirs and I have been heavily involved in cricket and rugby union both as a player and as committee member and club secretary

    I continue to sponsor and support these clubs and have even been on the church parish council - members from all of which who have nominated and voted for me as an independent in the past

    I have been supporting the NO vote since it was announced in February - so a total of seven (9) months 2-3 hours a week (3*4*9) total 108 hours

    My passions include resolving the homelessness situation here on the Sunshine coast and if elected I will correct the appalling lack of suitable accommodation for them in the form of motels and backpackers believing that there should be automatic and mandatory 'material' change of use and or rezoning for this type of accommodation of at least two extra 30 room 2000sq metre developments required per Division in Caloundra and the Sunshine Coast in particular and Queensland in general as well as across the nation as an opportunity to resolve this

    Party aligned activites include the specification design and manufacture of such accommodation which would be infinitely scaleable

    This is going to be fun running for State Parliament and I look forward celebrating the ( in)voice referendum defeat and international men's day on the 19th November 2023
